A Beautiful Job Start to Finish: Mizner Park

Last week, we wrapped up a paint job in Boca Raton, Florida. This was our first job in Boca Raton, although we have done several jobs in florida this one felt extra special with how beautiful the building was.

We started this job on June 20th of this year. You can see more on that on our other blog post, Getting Warmed Up: Mizner Park. We did have some rain delays but powered through and we were able to do our final walk on September 3rd. Due to the interesting placement and structure of this building, we used two different sized lifts. We had staging set up on the property with a storage unit to store our paint and materials. We used an estimated 1,300 gallons of paint on this job between the railings, trim, main body and balconies. 160 units in total, the other thing we had to keep in mind was the entire ground level was b

usinesses. These small businesses depended on us moving quickly and efficiently to avoid blocking their curb appeal to incoming potential shoppers. We took a personal approach here  by going into each store to communicate needs and expectations with the business owners . When you have such a vibrant community such as this, each piece must move cohesively with the others so it was important to us that the business owners felt heard and recognized in their wishes.

Another big part of this is the office staff. They are our gateway to the residents. We depend on them for paint notices, timelines and blocking parking for us to be able to do our job. We realize on top of everything else a leasing office has to deal with, this can be taxing. At the end of the job, we decided to thank the leasing office staff and it’s maintenance staff by providing a catered lunch from Moe’s.

Overall this was a really fun project, and we are so grateful to everyone that was apart of it. Check out more pictures below:

We feel so lucky that this project went smoothly, and got some great feedback from the team over at Gables & Mizner Park. Check it out below :

We’re looking forward to many projects in the future with this incredible team and can’t wait to see what 2022 has in store for all of us .
